Unfamiliar Being

This unfamiliar being, lurking deep inside my brain
From which angle I’m unsure, but three questions I contain
Why his face reflects my spirit, each interaction leaves me high
As he tramples through my dreams, I tilt my head up towards the sky
My second thought, on second thought, is not of why he came
But for my wisdom now meets love, is he the only one to blame?
I look back down, at two bare feet that stand on top this earth
Has nature planned his planting, from the moment of my birth?
Whichever way this current may flow, this life that feels brand new
I will pray for sunshine and warm weather, for I will remain in this canoe.
